Not only do nicotine pouches come in various formats, but there is also a difference in their size, which is of great importance. Mini nicopods, including crispy peppermint variants, sit between the upper lip and gum just like standard pouches. However, they take up noticeably less space.
This compact fit is what matters to a lot of users. Since the smaller pouch sits discreetly under the lip, using it at work, in public or to maintain a lower-profile experience becomes easy. But it is important to note that size and strength are two separate things. A lot of mini pouches feature the same nicotine content as their full-sized counterparts. As such, don’t let the format mislead you.
It is imperative that you always inspect the nicotine content listed on the pack when choosing between sizes. Ensure to check the quantity in mg per pouch. There are brands that even display strength in mg/g. So, determine what you are looking at before comparing products side by side.
Apart from size and strength, minis tend to differ in moisture level and how quickly the flavour is released. For instance, peppermint pouches blend mint with a cooling effect. However, the intensity varies based on brand and formulation.
Regardless of format, nicotine pouches are designed to be placed under the lip and left there. They are not for chewing or swallowing. Nicotine is addictive and is not without risk.
Size is just one part. So, when picking between mini and regular, weigh up the dimensions, the stated nicotine content, the flavour profile, and the manufacturer’s guidance.
